EQUIPMENT / TEXTURE AND SHAPE
Crab stick cutting and bundling equipment
Cutting equipment determines several different features of a crab stick: the strands within its texture, the shape of the formed product and its final length. Those operations should be specified separately.
YUKE materials show thin-cutting and bundling equipment, an oblique-cutting and ordering arrangement, and cutting equipment for flower-style products. The selection follows the intended product sample and its position in the process.

FCM-3025 oblique-cutting and shaping machine
The FCM-3025 receives rectangular material from the previous operation, cuts it at 25° into flat parallelogram-shaped pieces, then shapes, turns and orders the pieces into a straight output for the next process.
- These specifications describe the FCM-3025, not a complete production line or a universal cutting module.
- Confirm the incoming section, target product and downstream handoff when selecting the machine.
| Specification | FCM-3025 |
|---|---|
| Machine dimensions | 2600 × 1100 × 1950 mm |
| Machine weight | 500 kg |
| Machine power | 5 kW |
| Cutting angle | 25° for the described configuration |
| Construction material | SUS304 stainless steel |
| Frequency inverter | Siemens |
| Main electrical components | Schneider Electric |
Thin cutting and bundling
The prepared sheet is divided into strands and gathered into a bundle. Cutting and gathering work together to create the layered structure that continues to the finishing equipment.
When discussing this section, show the desired fiber appearance and how the finished stick should separate. Confirm the sheet format and the transfer arrangement into the bundling equipment.
Oblique cutting, turning and ordering
The quotation template describes an arrangement that cuts formed material on an angle, then shapes, turns and orders the pieces for the following operation. Its role differs from cutting a continuous sheet into fine strands.
A useful specification identifies the incoming section, required cut pattern and orientation at discharge. The intended product and the next conveyor or wrapping machine should be reviewed together.
Flower-cut and other product patterns
YUKE product literature includes equipment and finished examples for flower-cut crab stick products. A different cutting arrangement changes the appearance and needs to be selected for the intended product.
Use a clear sample, cross-section photograph or drawing to agree the pattern. Avoid treating a picture of several product styles as evidence that a single standard machine produces every style without a configuration change.
Final length cutting
Length cutting portions the product after the relevant forming and wrapping stages. The finished length and discharge arrangement need to suit the final packing operation.
Define the product dimensions, wrapping state and how the cut pieces will be collected or transferred. Existing downstream equipment may set practical limits on spacing, orientation and operating speed.
What to confirm before selecting a cutter
- Which task is required: strand cutting, oblique cutting, patterned cutting or final portioning.
- Incoming material dimensions and condition at that process stage.
- Desired finished appearance, texture and orientation.
- How the machine connects to forming, bundling and wrapping.
- Cleaning access, blade replacement and product changeover requirements.
- The proposed trial product and acceptance checks.
