A PRACTICAL BUYING GUIDE
Crab stick production line cost and configuration
The cost of a crab stick production line depends on the selected equipment and the responsibilities included in the quotation. A forming or wrapping machine quote covers a different scope from a line that also includes preparation, cooking and downstream integration.
Start with the product and the factory conditions. An itemized proposal makes it easier to compare configurations and understand what the project requires beyond the machine purchase.

What changes the quotation?
| Decision | Why it affects the proposal |
|---|---|
| Finished product | Classic sticks, oblique-fiber products, flower-cut pieces and filled products can need different forming and cutting modules. |
| Equipment boundary | Preparation, cooking, finishing, final packing and freezing interfaces must each be included or excluded explicitly. |
| Target output | The target needs to be assessed with the recipe, product format and operating arrangement across the connected line. |
| Existing factory equipment | A replacement machine needs compatible heights, widths, speeds and controls. |
| Layout and utilities | Available floor space, access and local utility conditions shape the equipment arrangement and site work. |
| Delivery and service | Transport, installation, commissioning, training and spare-parts scope should be stated separately. |
Information to send with an inquiry
- A sample or clear photographs of the finished product, including its cross-section.
- Product dimensions, desired texture, color and whether a filling is required.
- Your target hourly output and operating schedule, stated as project requirements.
- Individual wrapping and final pack format, including any existing packing machines.
- A workshop drawing showing usable space, columns, access doors and existing equipment.
- Available electrical supply, water, drainage and heating utilities.
- Factory country, delivery location and intended project schedule.
- The equipment already available and the stages you want YUKE to supply.
Compare the same scope
Ask for the proposed machine list, quantities, agreed configuration and interface requirements. Compare the final technical schedule with the product requirements rather than comparing a single headline price.
Check whether the quotation includes transport, site work, commissioning, training and recommended spares. Record excluded equipment and services so they can be planned and budgeted separately.
- Identify which machine performs each required process stage.
- Check the connection to existing equipment and downstream packing.
- Agree how the product trial and acceptance checks will be carried out.
- Confirm payment, delivery, warranty and service terms for the specific order.
Do not size utilities from one machine
A single machine's motor rating or dimensions do not describe the complete line. Request the final installation drawing and utility schedule for the agreed equipment list.
The factory review should cover connection points, access for cleaning and maintenance, material movement and the downstream storage or freezing interface. Staffing is discussed against the final workflow and the operations retained by the factory.
Agree the practical support arrangements
Before ordering, discuss who prepares the site, who installs each part of the line, how commissioning will be organized and which operators need training. Include language, location and schedule requirements in the inquiry.
Ask which maintenance tasks the factory will perform and which replacement parts should be kept locally. Written service and spare-parts arrangements make the final offer easier to evaluate.
Request a configuration for your project
If you are still developing the product, send what you already have: a sample, a product photograph or an outline of the intended format. The first discussion can establish the processing stages and the information needed for a more detailed proposal.
Pricing is provided for an agreed configuration. This guide does not publish an indicative price range that could be mistaken for a complete-line offer.
