PRODUCT SAMPLES / CONFIGURATION IDEAS

Crab stick product formats and applications

A product sample makes an equipment discussion more precise. The photographs on this page show crab stick samples from YUKE's product materials, with different strand patterns, cut shapes and wrapping presentations.

Use the intended appearance, cross-section and pack format to define the equipment requirements. The examples demonstrate product formats; they do not represent customer endorsements or a guarantee that one machine configuration makes every format.

Classic sticks and layered texture

For a stick product, specify the finished section, length and how the layers should separate. The sheet-forming, strand-cutting and gathering arrangement creates the material that continues into coloring and wrapping.

A useful sample set includes the complete stick, a cross-section and a view with the strands separated. Add the desired individual wrap and final pack so finishing can be considered at the same time.

Oblique-cut product presentation

The photographed samples show an angled product shape and a visible layered surface. The forming, oblique-cutting, shaping and ordering stages are reviewed together to obtain the selected presentation.

Send both the external view and the intended fiber direction. The product orientation at discharge matters when connecting to the next conveyor or wrapping machine.

Flower-cut pieces

Flower-cut pieces have a different surface and cut presentation from a conventional long stick. YUKE literature and the photographed samples provide a basis for discussing this format with product-specific cutting equipment.

Agree the desired external appearance, section and final portion with a physical sample or clear photographs. Cutting equipment and downstream handling should be chosen for that format.

Filled products as a separate configuration

The equipment material includes active rolling, a core-feed pump and a forming head for filled crab stick configurations. Specify the core material and the desired cross-section before selecting the arrangement.

Product texture and formulation cannot be established from a photograph alone. A sample discussion and the agreed trial conditions are used to define the final proposal.

Build a clear product brief

  • Show the target product whole, in cross-section and with any layers or strands separated.
  • State the intended dimensions, wrapping and final pack format.
  • Describe any filling and the desired external color.
  • Identify which equipment and utilities are already available.
  • Agree the proposed trial and the checks used to accept the product and equipment.
